The group Biplan just recorded a new album, which they had been working on for three months. The sound, according to the musicians, turned out to be "a bit heavier and rather contemporary." The new project as yet has no name. The producer of the album was again Rainis Trilikauskis, who worked with the musicians on their album "To the Blonds."
The recordings were made with the participation of two Lithuanian dj girls- DJ Asta and DJ Livia. In one of the songs, Biplan used fragments from Marilyn Monroe's recording of "I Wanna Be Loved by You" (by the way, the grandfather of the group's bassist Artem Myshkin- Jonas Labutis- met with Marilyn) while another song used samples of voices of Russian and American astronauts (no one said anything about any band member relative meeting an astronaut). The new single has already been chosen, and its working title is "Cine-Mechanic." The album will be released in the beginning of the summer.
