Nick CAVE  Lou Reed, Nick Cave, Thurston Moore To Participate In Benefit Show

A stellar lineup is solidifying for a benefit concert in celebration of The Anthology of American Folk Music, a six-CD box set originally released in the 1950s and re-released in August 1997 on Smithsonian Folkways Recordings.

The concerts, held Nov. 11-12 at St. Ann's Church in Brooklyn, N.Y., and benefiting the Harry Smith Archives (Smith edited the anthology), will feature Lou Reed, Nick Cave, Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore, Wilco's Jeff Tweedy and Jay Bennett, David Johansen, Van Dyke Parks, DJ Spooky, and others.
